TV configurations: My Wave settings
Customise discovery sections, TV tabs, the banner and how content is displayed.
01
Open My Wave settings for TV
In TV configurations, create or edit a configuration, then open My Wave settings. These options customise the My Wave screens on TV. They take effect after you save, send and confirm on the TV.
02
Section and tab order
- Movies order: arrange the movie discovery sections.
- Series order: do the same for series.
- My Wave TV tab order: reorder entries such as Favorites, History, Reminders, Recordings and Sports.
Use the up and down arrows. Where a visibility checkbox is available, uncheck it to hide an entry. Lists that require at least one visible entry must keep one selected.
03
Visible sections
- Last added and Recent releases: choose whether these sections appear.
- Trending, Popular and Top rated: show the discovery selections that interest you.
- Upcoming: shows forthcoming releases.
- Use On the Air instead of Airing Today: shows series currently airing rather than only those airing today.
- Visible custom movie groups and Visible custom series groups: show the corresponding custom groups.
Discovery selections may include titles missing from your playlist. Availability options help you recognise these cases.
04
Item limits: how many titles to show
Choose the number of items for Last added, Recent releases, Trending, Popular, Top rated and Upcoming. A lower limit shortens the rows; it does not remove any content from your playlist.
05
Banner
- Show banner: shows or hides the featured area.
- Auto rotation: cycles through items. Rotation (s) sets the time between changes.
- Pause on focus: stops rotation while the banner is selected.
- Banner changes with hovered poster: updates the featured area to match the selected poster.
- Banner items: sets the number of items included.
- Banner sources: chooses the sections that supply this area.
06
Availability and posters
- Show unavailable badge: marks titles that are not available in your catalogue.
- Hide content to check and unavailable: removes these titles from the relevant views.
- Prefer local posters: gives priority to posters from the catalogue.
- TMDB poster fallback: allows a replacement poster from TMDB when available.
- Content matching: chooses how to find a title in your catalogue, by ID, by name or with both, depending on the selected option.
These settings change the display and how titles are matched to your catalogue. They do not add content to your provider subscription.
