Remote activation

1. 01In Activation, choose Device ID mode.
2. 02Select the playlist.
3. 03Copy the ID shown by Waveo on the target device’s add-playlist screen, or choose a saved device.
4. 04Add a device name if it helps you recognise it.
5. 05Choose the Premium and Cloud sync options, then Schedule activation.
6. 06Open Waveo on that device and check the result in Activations log.

Use the help button beside the field to locate the ID. Enter the one shown by Waveo, rather than a network address from your television’s settings.

Under Saved devices, select a device to fill in its ID automatically. Check its name and ID before sending. Removing it from this menu only removes the shortcut: its Premium access and cloud connection are kept.

2. 02Select the playlist and the options to apply when it is retrieved.
3. 03Choose Confirm and generate code, then copy the code shown.
4. 04On the target device, choose to add a playlist by remote activation code and enter the code.
5. 05Let the import finish, then check the playlist and Activations log.

The code can be used on several devices and stays valid until blocked. Future activations use the current playlist details. You can find the code again by editing that playlist.

Check Activate premium too if the device needs it, then choose a code. A slot is reserved until activation succeeds, then used by that device. With a remote code that can be used on several devices, each reservation is made when a device retrieves the playlist.

A device that already has Premium keeps its access. To activate Premium without sending content, use Add a device in Premium codes.

Check Enable Cloud sync to link the device to the cloud once its playlist has fully loaded. Premium must be active on the target device; the form asks you to activate it too if needed.

• The playlist configuration is always synced, including its sources and connection details.
• Favorites: syncs supported favourites.
• History and progress: syncs watched content and your playback position where supported.
• Groups: syncs supported group organisation.
• If you select no additional options, only the playlist configuration is synced.

After the first sync, find the playlist in My cloud. This step may remain pending if the app version is incompatible or the import does not finish.

2. 02Choose Block on the relevant code.
3. 03Read the confirmation and confirm the permanent block.
