Cloud devices and messages

Link a device to a cloud playlist, check its connection and send messages to your devices.

01

View synced devices

In My cloud, select the playlist and open Devices. The list shows linked devices and pending additions. Choose Refresh to reload their status; search and extra pages appear as the list grows.

Waiting for device means the device has not received the request to join yet. Presence confirmed means it was detected at the time shown; it may have disconnected since then.

02

Add a device to a cloud playlist

  1. 01Choose Add a device.
  2. 02Select an available device or choose New device.
  3. 03For a new device, enter the ID shown by Waveo and a name, then choose Save and continue.
  4. 04If Premium is required, select a code with a free slot.
  5. 05Choose Send playlist.
  6. 06Open Waveo on the target device and wait for the playlist to load and sync to turn on.
  7. 07Refresh the device list to check the result.

Adding a device from the website requires Waveo 2.3.0 or later on the target TV or mobile device. The request expires after 24 hours if the device does not retrieve it.

03

Understand the Premium slot requirement

  • If Premium is already active on the device, adding it does not require another Premium slot.
  • Otherwise, a slot on the selected code is reserved, then used when activation completes.
  • If no slots are available, release a reservation, revoke an old device’s access or add slots in Premium codes.

04

Send a message to devices

  1. 01Choose Send a message.
  2. 02Select the linked devices that should receive it. Use Select all and Deselect all to make this easier.
  3. 03Choose Write message and enter a title and text.
  4. 04Check the recipients and character counts, then send.

The message is queued. It will appear the next time Waveo starts with Internet access and a compatible version; it stays available for 30 days. Do not include passwords or access codes.

05

Cancel a pending addition

On a Waiting for device row, use the cross and confirm cancellation. The linked Premium reservation is released if the request is still pending. Refresh the list if the device may have completed activation in the meantime.

06

Disconnect a device from the cloud

  1. 01Find the device in the list.
  2. 02Choose Disconnect.
  3. 03Read the confirmation and confirm that you want to stop sync.
What disconnection changes

The device stops syncing this cloud space. It keeps its local playlists and Premium access. To remove Premium, use Premium codes or Devices.
