My cloud: playlists, EPG and sync
Choose a cloud playlist, edit its sources and control what is shared between devices.
01
Make a playlist appear in My cloud
My cloud shows playlists already synced with your account. Saving a playlist in Playlists does not add it here automatically.
- 01On an updated device, complete cloud pairing with the right account. You can also use Activation with Enable Cloud sync.
- 02Let Waveo finish loading the playlist and syncing it for the first time.
- 03In My Wave, open My cloud and choose Refresh.
- 04Choose the playlist to manage from the selector at the top.
02
Find your way around the five tabs
- Playlist: edit the name and connection details.
- Devices: view linked devices, add one, send a message or disconnect a device.
- Groups: rename, reorder or hide synced groups.
- EPG sources: manage TV guide URLs and their priority.
- Sync: turn sync on or off for groups, favourites, history and progress.
Check the playlist name before each change. The Cloud devices and messages and Cloud groups chapters cover those two tabs in detail.
03
Playlist tab: edit the connection
- 01Select the playlist and open Playlist.
- 02Edit its name, address or credentials according to the source type.
- 03For Xtream, also check the backup servers. For Stalker, check the portal details.
- 04Review credential hiding, then choose Save.
- 05Open Waveo on a linked device and let it finish syncing.
You cannot change the playlist type on this screen. To edit the TV guide, open EPG sources. Devices still using this playlist will receive the changes when they next sync.
Remote activation codes linked to the playlist also appear on this screen.
04
Remote code: create, copy or block a code
- 01Open Remote code, then choose Generate a code.
- 02If the device does not have Premium, enable the Premium option and choose a code with an available slot.
- 03Confirm, copy the new code and enter it in Waveo on the TV or phone. The playlist keeps its sync settings.
Beside the playlist selector, choose Remote code to see the codes for this cloud playlist. Copy an active code to install the playlist on an authorised device. Choose Block to prevent further installations using that code.
Blocking is permanent and cancels retrieval requests still pending. Playlists already installed and Premium access already activated are kept. An empty list means no remote code is linked to this playlist.
05
EPG sources tab: organise the TV guide
- 01Choose Add EPG source.
- 02Enter the source name and an HTTP or HTTPS URL supplied for your guide.
- 03Use the Enabled checkbox to turn the source on or off.
- 04Use the arrows to change priority; delete any row you no longer need.
- 05Choose Save to cloud.
- 06On the device, let sync finish, then refresh the TV guide if needed.
You can manage up to five sources, each with a different URL. The website saves their addresses; the apps download the programme listings. If the tab says this playlist type manages its guide in the app, make the changes on the device.
06
Sync tab: choose what to share
- Groups: shares supported group organisation.
- Favorites: shares supported favourites.
- History and progress: shares watched content and your playback position.
- Last cloud activity: shows the latest known activity. It does not confirm that all devices have received the latest changes.
A change is saved as soon as you use a switch. Wait for confirmation before continuing. The setting applies to all devices and playlists in the same cloud space.
Manage individual favourites and history entries in the apps. Here, you only choose whether to sync them. App settings and connected services such as Trakt can also change this data.
07
Arrange playlists on the website
- 01Beside the playlist selector, open Manage playlists.
- 02Use Move up or Move down to set the order.
- 03Choose Save.
This order is saved for the website’s playlist selector. Without a custom order, playlists with the most recent cloud activity appear first.
08
Remove a playlist from the website
- 01Open Manage playlists.
- 02On the relevant playlist, choose Remove from website.
- 03Read the consequences and confirm only if you want to stop its sync.
The playlist is removed from the website and its cloud sync stops, even if the option remains enabled in an app. Pending requests to add devices are cancelled.
Copies already installed on devices are kept. To delete those too, remove them locally on each device. Removal from the website does not wait for you to save the playlist order.
09
Save, discard or reload
Changes to groups and EPG sources stay in a draft until you choose Save to cloud. Discard changes abandons that draft. Before switching playlists or tabs, save anything you want to keep.
If a message says the data has changed or the action could not be confirmed, reload the cloud data first. Check what has already been applied before making the change again.
